Hey y’all! It’s been some time since I’ve been on here and I have missed y’all so much!
I’ve had a lovely summer filled with wonderful memories (as well as very messy ones ... thanks kidlets 🤣) and fun little local field trips with the family!
Now that we have re-familiarized ourselves with our homeschool routine and the seasons are changing, why not kick it off with a fun, Fall home tour!
This Fall, I'm really feeling luxurious golds, pale and pretty sage greens, and those boho-farmhouse vibes! I really only bought a few new pieces and stayed well within my budget of …. drum roll please …. $100!?!?!?!?
Oh yeah, not a very large budget this year lol, but a budget I can definitely work with (and appreciate)! So with that in mind, I was definitely motivated to DIY, shop around for the perfect pieces to spend money on, and to "shop" my home.
There's a few things that are very important to know about me and my decorating preferences:
- Use décor that I love
- Be budget friendly
- The ability for the pieces to be repurposed to my heart's content
Here's what I spent my budget on:
- Bouquet of hand felted billy balls from an etsy maker: $30
- A gorgeous and oh so boho pumpkin pillow from Pier 1 imports: $26 (on sale)
- Gathered feathers artwork from Pier 1 imports: $22 (on clearance)
- 2 clearance placemats from World Market: $6
- Adorable gray squirrel: $11
….. I managed to stay within my budget and had $5 left! Hello Starbucks run! 'Tis the season of the PSL!
With the exception of the pumpkin pillow, the artwork and the billy balls meet all my decorating preferences perfectly! Yay! The pumpkin pillow was just too cute for words and I know I will use it for many more seasons to come!
Let's get on with this tour!
The muted striped pillow above was a wonderfully easy DIY! I snagged 2 clearance placemats (just $3 each) from World Market and hand stitched them together! I love how they complement the boho pumpkin pillow.
This is the gorgeous gathered feathers artwork! I'm so glad I found this for only $22! I cant wait to use this artwork for other seasons to come! Aren't those felted acorns adorable?! Another etsy maker purchase! I hand make the pumpkins and pom pom coasters - they can be found in my etsy shop.
I'm super proud of how pretty this DIY book page table runner turned out! I've got some spooky plans for these pages come Halloween time!
I had two swag style wreaths that I created from the year before. Since I had re-arranged the original space of where the two of these swags would need to hang, I only needed one for this year. So I re-purposed one using the pretty billy balls and added in coordinating details that I had around from my décor stashes. I have the stories saved to my Instagram highlights if you'd like to check it out!
I hope y 'all enjoyed the tour! If you have any questions about how I style the pieces, where I bought, or how I DIY'ed them - please let me know!
